Fresh vaccine uncertainty across Europe looks likely to affect the Eurozone economy further as member states remain unable to come to a consensus on the AstraZeneca vaccine.

The U.K. Medicines regulator is now recommending that people under 30 not be given the AstraZeneca vaccine and this is expected to affect the pound. However, outlook is hopeful that this will be mitigated by the U.K. commencing the roll-out of Moderna’s vaccine from Wednesday. And despite these losses the Pound is still up 3.6% against the Euro in 2021.
